A 50 th Birthday card for Ellie by blackrose1959
A 50 th Birthday card for Ellie
For this one I have used a piece of A4 cream shimmer card and then folded it in half. Onto this I have glued a piece of white glitter board and left it to dry. I then printed out the 50 and cut this out by hand, this was then glued onto the card front and left to dry before I glued tiny clear gem's onto it using a cocktail stick to put them in place and then I used a fine glue pen around the outer edges of the numbers, this was then sprinkled with gold glitter. The greeting I attached using double sided sticky pads. The two gold glassed I glued into place and detailed using silver glitter, two small cream silk bows and pearls as well as amber heart shaped gems.
The camera image I found on the net and cut it all out and decoupaged it, this has then been glued onto place and detailed using black and red glitter. The wording has been done using gold peel off's and to stop them from coming off tha card I glued a piece of cellophane over the top of them and then glued strips of gold glitter paper around the outer edges,in each of the corners I have glued clear gems and amber heart shaped gems.
The same method has been used for the photo on the card.
A Birthday card for Emma by blackrose1959
A Birthday card for Emma
I made this card using a piece of A4 cream shimmer card which I then folded in half. After that I glued thin strips of gold glitter paper around the outer edges of the card, on top of that I have used gold peel off's and the gold corner peel off's onto which I have glued star shaped gem's. In the centre of the card I then glued a piece of gold holographic card, on the outer edges of this I have also used gold peel off's and glued star shaped gem's into each of the corners. The image I found on the net and the printed out and hand cut all the pieces using my craft knife, this was then decoupaged and the whole image has been detailed using gel pen's. After that I glued the image on top of the gold holographic card. The greeting has been made using a piece of gold glitter card gold peel off's and a printed greeting which has also been detailed with gel pen on the writing. On the greeting I have also used scroll peel off's in gold and glued a small pearl shaped bow in the centre top and on top of the a small round clear gem has been glued into place as well as at the base of the greeting there is a small clear round gem, which has been put into place using the same method.
